Straight Hair
· Use sulfate free products when shampooing and conditioning- this will prevent dried and brittle hair
· Avoid using oily products, they’ll weigh your hair down and take away from natural bounciness
· Moisturize! Moisturize! Moisturize!—Treat extensions as you would treat your natural hair
· Wash excessive product build-up
· Use heat protectant when styling by heat
· Bed Tim- The use of a satin pillow case or satin head wrap will prevent breakage. Wrap, Braid, Twist or use rods before bed
· Always start from ends to root when combing or brushing-this will limit breakage
· Do a deep conditioning at least once a month- this will help nourish your extensions
Wavy Hair
· Follow the same steps as above
· Use leave-in conditioners and moisturizers to achieve waves-this will give your hair a natural sheen and vibrant look
Curly and Kinky Hair
· Follow the steps above
· It’s important to keep this hair moisturize (please avoid products with alcohol)
· Deep conditioning at least twice a month
· When hair is wet use a wide tooth comb or run fingers through starting at the ends to the root
· Allow hair to air dry or dry with diffuser with leave in conditioner and or moisturizer
· Bed Time -To keep curls or kinky coils lasting and remaining bouncy, try braiding or tightly twisting before bed
If you ever decide to dye or bleach hair, we recommend doing a deep condition treatment after. This is the key to preventing breakage and dried looking hair
